Artist Zhao Rongjie presents the beauty and essence of life through the unique concept of mushroom spores. Mushrooms propagate by releasing billions of spores, each symbolizing the cycle of life. These spores naturally form patterns reminiscent of irises, fingerprints, and tree rings, which the artist refers to as “Natural Life Code”
In 2021, Zhao Rongjie spent three months in the pristine forests of Yunnan,China,collecting over a thousand spore prints from wild mushrooms. These prints were collaged into a large-scale artwork titled "Gazing" （300*300cm）
For this collaboration, we have selected 10 spore prints to create limited-edition, signed works printed on fine linen canvas. Each piece measures 25x25cm and is priced individually.
 
These works can be displayed as standalone pieces or combined in various arrangements (refer to the example photos in the product images). Custom sizes are also available upon request.
